Virat Kohli Smashes Century as India Clinch ODI Series Against Australia

In a thrilling encounter at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Virat Kohli produced a masterclass innings to guide India to a comprehensive 6-wicket victory over Australia in the 3rd and final ODI, clinching the series 2-1.

Kohli, who came in at No.3 after an early wicket, looked in sublime form from the start. He scored a magnificent 112 off 98 balls, studded with 11 fours and 3 sixes. The former captain paced his innings beautifully, taking the attack to the Australian bowlers when needed.

Australia had posted a competitive 285 all out in their 50 overs, with Steve Smith top-scoring with 89. Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood gave Australia early breakthroughs, but Kohli's resilience proved too much.

Shubman Gill provided excellent support with a fluent 67, while KL Rahul finished things off with an unbeaten 43. The victory marks India's dominance in home ODI series and sends a strong signal ahead of the Champions Trophy.
